Yes, its supposed to be bare-bones simple. As some people have told me, my webhosting isnt the fastest they have seen, so I thought a simple design would be best. My friend, Jory, designed the mainpage, and Katabatic changed the colors to be matrix-ey. I then made the other pages with the mainpage as base and viola! The website is born. Not really looking for C&C, just getting the site out there and seeing if anyone is interested in joining. (thanks to anyone else who helped that i didnt meantion)

The screenshot page needs some serious work. First off, those aren't true thumbnails. They are just resized versions of the regular images. Basically, the browser is forced to download the full size image (400kb), then resize it to the dimensions given by the HTML code. Not good design at all. It makes the whole page load VERY SLOWLY.

Yeah, i know. First, it's not really meant to be thumbnails, its just so i can fit all the screens on the area. second, im too lazy to make them thumbnails... i might when i have the time to make smaller images of them all. Third, most of the slowness is also because ionempire is kinda slow at the moment, okay well its been slow since i got it, and i dont have any other place to upload it. Speaking of which... ive commented a few times on never recieving an email about your webhosting, CM, even though i 'signed up' before others did who got hosted :\

The color scheme is a bit off, too many misplaced shades of green. You also should think about merging the mod news and the main news section.

Okay... i told you im not asking for comments on the webpage. My friend did this for me for free.

And how are there too many misplaced shades of green? theres only two shades and they look very well placed to me. They have a pattern of using dark green for the title or tops of things, and then the bottoms are a lighter green. im missing your point :P

Frankly, I don't like it - it's unappealing, and doesn't do justice to how good the mod looks.

This should be good if done right. You can already manually try to dodge bullet just by holding the use button and use the strafe keys. Bullet time is pretty much force speed. Force sight could somehow be changed to make everything looks like its in the matrix code. I also heard JA has drivable vehicles so I guess it's not out of the question to make that highway chase scene. Good luck!

Heh... we are gonna do dodging as an automatic thing. Like if you get shot at you dodge it regardless, but if you just stand there for 5 seconds or more, you are no longer can dodge them. Bullet time in SP will be like force speed, but in MP the only way to do it is a special pickup that enables it for a few seconds when you use it. It will make the entire level bullet time and thats that (if this thread turns into an arguement abou how to do bullet time in multiplayer, i will have it closed) We will probably trash force seeing or make it like that glowing yellow stuff like when Neo looks at seraph. And yes, drivable vehicles in the freeway level. hope that cleares some stuff up.

Well the only problem is that i suck with html. the only way i found the right place to put that image is becase i found the text that used to be there and replaced it. i have no freaking clue where the other bars are :/

Added a java applet that does sweet looking matrix code. Wondering if thats a good place to put it though. i can change the shape of it into any 4 sided polygon, so,... uh... any suggestions? or does it look okay on the top?
