this one was long in the coming (due to bugs [http://forums.massassi.net/html/mad.gif] )

But all it needs now is a little bit of item placment tweaking, a few odds and ends/ect

I'll submit after the files come back online

anyways.. It a Lvl that about gameplay, then looks, and being realist is not really there but O well

Nice, Reminds me of.. A aliens vs predators kinda theme to it.. Very military looking.. Good job! And thank god for JK mappers!

It looks nice, but I think that the textures need more variation. The warning stripes are overused. The majority of the other textures are the same darkness, try lightening some of them.

Map looks great. But I agree with MBeggar.

Some good lighting on that last pic would make a HUGE improvement.

Just lighting in general would help. There's not a shadow to be seen anywhere.

Hmm I'll try to freshen up the tex's a bit, but there only so far I will go, just because I think its weird for one area of a space ship to look way differnt from another

and I'll try to fix up the lighting, though I'm not good at it

The fountain's texturing seems extraordinarily out of place, and I'd recommend you make the glass slanted, and give it a U and V value of 0.5.

really? I liked the fountain..

maybe if I tell you the thinking behide it,

I wanted a space ship for a lvl with the feeling of system shock2, But I also wanted a lvl that would be good for fast pace death match games,

problem being, the size to give the proper feeling of a area of the ship would ruin the deathmatch(lets face it, there's no fun in spending 90% of the game looking for some one to kill)

all rooms where ment to reflect area's in SS2(apart from the engine room, I think star trek took me a bit off track :P )

the place with the fountain was ment to be the area in SS2 with the table's and chairs
and in the center was the main elevater, and to the side where the crew's rooms with the lifts going up do the differnt lvls

so I had the tables and chairs, and the broken door that would to the crews rooms(you can see it shooting out sparks in the 1st pic of it)

problem was it didn't feel like the crew's area to relax, it was just a room with chairs in it,

so I put in the fountain&the water runing sounds and I thought it did the job...

My Space Colony Inc. level was inspired by System Shock 2. I think I succeeded in making a dark, scary level but with some light-hearted parts in the map. It's a cold space station with lounge rooms and such. Feel free to check it out for ideas (once downloads are back up).

I've played it before, its a good lvl

my fav parts where the fountion(btw if you don't mind saying what mat/how did you do that)

and room 6

Hmm looks good... but the fountain does kinda stick out, it may be marble in SS2 (I dunno, never played it) but you may want to consider giving it a different texture to better go with the room.

Or maybe you can try redoing it with more detail, that might help as well. The light texture against the dark really brings out the polly edges, maybe that's it.

The second shot looks downright awesome!

I really like the overall lighting and textures.

And I agree Mega_ZZTer, give the fountain somewhat darker texture and it might work better. (just some darker greytint might already suffice.)
