This thred is pretty much just to show off the quality of Laboratory over it's Multiplayer counterpart "Laboratory VI : Achluophobia". One of the things that made Lab 6 stand out, was the added element of gore. Everyone loved seeing those scientists get what they diserved. Well, I guess it's a good thing for Laboratory SP that the plot line makes gore nessicary. The first shot is from the popular Laboratory 6 MP level. The last 2 shots is the Lab TC/SP's answer to the particular dead scientist from Lab 6.

The blood in that first picture looks more like he threw up. It looks better in the other pics, but might there be a way to make it fade a bit around the edges so it's not so abrupt? One idea could be to make a modified texture with a blood-splat on it of the same color as the mats on those blood 3dos, then position the 3do over the splat so it looks more like blood actually would.

that's originally what I planned to do, until I realized that would mean making a bunch new textures, and seeing as how I am not making it in 16 bit.. it would be kinda hard to fade it with out color problems. Also, there would be alot more surfaces if I did it that way, cause I would have to cut up the surface to put the texture in. I think all and all this way would be the best way to go. hmm, I don't think it's the edges that make it look not quite right, but rather the odd lighting on the blood. It looks like it's a blanket thrown down on the ground, rather than a liquid.
