Hello there,

Well summers nearly gone and I still haven't finished this darn thing. Blooming life getting in the way (not in a nice way either).

Anyway I have added the Jedi Temple area.







So we now have:
1 The shuttle baywhere visitors arrive at the complex + Industrial chimney bit
2 The Canteen where visitors can get tanked-up and bawdy.
3 A lil R&R park
4 Lots of walways'n'stuff
5 The Replica Jedi Temple where visitors can experience the atmosphere of a real, genu-wine Jedi Temple while hacking each other to bits wiv their sabers.


Only the Replica Sith Temple to go and the Jedi Recreational Complex is (basically)complete...Maybe add lil details like streets-lights and posters n stuff (depends on fps's at first tests) + fiddle with the lighting and other lil things here and there...

Looks very nice for a WIP, could do with better looking shadows though... As well, I personally hate a-little-bit-of-everything maps.. But that's a personal opinion of course. And many of the Yavin area's in those maps don't look nearly as good as this one

Thanks for feedback gothicX, Archerjay and Hard-Driver. Not sure about bit-of-everythings either; but this one made sense to me (I bet everyone thinks that when they do one lol). Anyway, I think I've pretty much committed to this one too much to go back

My task atm is to finish the layout and have a working map. Then i go back over adding details and lighting-tweaks where needed.

I have been on hols (wahey!) and although it is mind-numbingly depressing to be back in Rainy bloody Blighty (it was probably the rain that turned the Brits into Empire-building maniacs: notice how we always went for hot sunny places...Case closed i tink) I have dove straight back into mapping.

I am now on way to completing it, having made a good start on Sith Temple wotsit...

Yep, but from the novels, they have huge cathedralic/techy like things.
