As the title hints at, this is a little teaser shot from an Alpha test of my portion of the level.


Obviously, it's not finished. Still have to create the misty-fog effect at the bottom, among other things. Textures may change. Waterfall model may change, ect. Perhaps I can get another shot up before this thread dies.

Anyhow...discuss.

Is the waterfall animated?

Yep, waterfall is animated (there will possibly be a vid close to release showing off some of the landscape as well as some of the action). I'm probably going to tweak the res a bit. The water (which you can barely see) is also animated.

Oh yeah, the clouds are also animated. Once I get the skydome in, there will (hopefully) be a layer or two of moving clouds.

Yeah, not long after I posted this I had to go to work. I work part-time as a security officer at a chicken plant. But, anyhow, while I was there (sitting in my office...bored...oh so very bored), I decided that I would redo it.

I made this one fairly quickly, mostly just to see what it'd look like in-game. No references, just off the top of my head. I live a few miles from a nice waterfall and thought I'd go up there one day after classes and film it from a few different angles (including down behind it ).
