So I'm shopping around for saber systems to add to Duel Zero.
I had this idea for a system where:
Default strike is downwards chop. The farther you turn the mouse while firing, the more the swing levels out.
It works in every direction except backwards, where the basic strike is upwards.
That way the strike would depend on a sweeping mouse movement, and you could do almost all of the strikes without moving, and it'd cover strikes from every angle.
Do you guys think it sounds like it's worth a crap?
