Alrighty folks, i started a new model. Here's the reference image (drawn by me). Sorry about the quality, i had to take a pic of it because we don't have our scanner at our apartment.

Thanks for the replies. Both are done in animation master. The first model is currently at 516 patches, the second one has a patch count through the roof...

that's because i modeled one half and then mirrored it...

Once i finish with everything I'll tweak it to get rid of some of the symmetry.+

I think you need to make it more cloth-like... rips, flaps etc..
