Yeah, I was bored, my current projects sucked, and I wanted to start something new, so I whipped this up in 2 days.








Right now, the top is going to get some crates, and more lights and detail over by the large grate area, and the bottom is completely unfinished, and I will be adding things there. I will also be adding some more cables to the magnets holding the Tie's up. Suggestions welcome.

According to the novels/movies/Fact File, there is only ONE. TIE-Advanced. You've got a lot more hanging in that hangar.

about the whole X1 thing...there are more than 1 TIE Advanced X1. Vaders was the first. If you collect the SW:CCG cards like myself you will notice that there are more than one of these ships. not many, but more than one.

Well, look at it this way:

Regardless of how many X1s were built I can't see any problems with the mesh. Somehow Totally Games and LucasArts forgot what the frell the TIE X1 looked like in the original X-wing.

You do realize that Raven made the model, not Totally Games, which didn't even work on the game, and Lucasarts, who didn't work on the game.

What the hell is that texture on the floor of the third shot?? Is that the blaster bolt texture? Please say that is temporary.

Thats the Vader floor on Vjun. I can change it if it annoys you so, lol.

No, it's fine... I just thought it was the texture for the E-11 blaster bolt...

I dislike the device holding the TIEs in place. It needs to look more like a grasper arm... sorta like an articulated leg if you know what I mean. That'd give it a harsher/more imperial mood.

Well, I think I have had enough complaints that I will get rid of that texture. I like the red glow, so I will come up with another source for the red glow. More soon.

I will be adding to that. There really is nothing for a grasper arm to grasp, but I have plans to add more to the devices holding the ties in place. As for the tubes, those are for pilots to climb down into the cockpits, so no plans on adjusting those.

yeahh... that's what i thought too. but we're both wrong. it's the uber suction torsion pain chamber of death!

but seriously, just liven it up (and give it a tad more detail) by putting some sort of 'docking collar' on the bottom of it.

The ties look really good but the lighting is too dark you can hardly see them.

Open a place for the ties to leave and have that also be a light source.
