This is my small level project I just started while ago. It's going to be MP, maybe duel. It's very early and I'd like to get some advice how to improve it:
Shot showing most of the area:

Shot from an different angle:
Shot outside the tomb
[http://www.massassi.net/ec/images/13299.jpg]
And finally shot from inside the small tomb.
Just noticed myself that I forgot to texture the back's of the doors...

I think I should add some thing on the roofs, but I don't know what. It looks bit dull with those flat roofs.

Those light beams look a little intense.

I actually like the lightbeams, depite the fact that they look unreal... the map looks a tab big for just Duel, maybe make it a small FFA map as well and place weapons and ammo?

You stole my idea. Die.

Looks nice, but those lightbeams are wrong. They come straight down, and are yellow, while normal dark_dust would do better. Also, in the outside area, the light doesn't come straight from above.

I was thinking to make it small ffa level... Maybe add some small tombs, that have access to underground catacombs? And I'm going to change the lightbeams to dark_dust, it suits much better. Any ideas for the roofs?

The light beams in the last pictures look really weird.

In addition to changing the light beams to dark_dust, I'll think I'll make them longer so they don't look so wierd.

It looks a little too dark on the outside given how bright the skybox is. Other than that, it looks great

Make them shine in the same direction as the light actually goes. If you look at the shadows in the other pics, it comes diagonally - make the lightbeams diagonal also.

Yeah, light beams unreal... They would overlap, just creating a general area of light... And the light shouldn't just stop, leaving the floor dark... should be able to see the squares on the floor, and there should be some general light from the area of the beams... As for the roof, at least make it thicker.

i'll think I'll brighten the area a lot, and but the lightbeams diagonally. I'll also add the light squares to the floor like LKOH_SniperWolf said.

Ok, here's updated shots:
Now the desert is lightened up:

Changed the lightbeams to dark_dust. They are still on the wrong angle, as you can see from the light boxes on the wall. Should I totally take out the lightbeams? Also, I noticed, that I HAD textured the back's of the doors, but in JA it doesn't show them... Strange:

I'll get some underground picks later.
