Not bad. Made in JED, I assume? Show us a textured model, please?

Sorry Jin, no textured version... I can't texture worth a crap. It was modeled in JED.

P.S. Stock may or may not be taken off, up to you guys to decide.

Looks like a great design, but extremely flat. Perhaps extruding all of the surfaces you'd like rounded once, then a second time, then resize the second extrude, then delete the second extrude. That's what I do for handles and other things in order to give it a polygon-friendly shapliness.

Inspired by the AK I assume. It looks kind of odd where the top of the handle attatches to the rest of the gun. Other than that, it looks pretty good

Actually this gun is based off of the design of the German STG 44. It looked just like the STG 44 (without the stock) until I put the foregrip on and deleted all of the excess.

Good model. However, I can't stress *vertex editing* enough. It saves polys and makes youre model look better. Perhaps I should create an advanced JED modeling tutorial.

It's nice, but it's a little messy... there's alot of pointless cleaves, etc, that don't need to be there... and the clip could use some evening out [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
Here's a tip- if you're doing curves (like the clip, trigger, etc) don't cleave around it, cleave through it. I know that didn't make any sense at all so let me explain...
Look at it as part of a bigger circle, and instead of cleaving around the circle, which would get you something like this...
Code:
     /_______
 \ / \
  \/ \
   \ /\
  __\_____/ \
         /

cleave towards the center of the circle, giving you something looking like a pie (because pie is good)

Code:
      \_____/
      / \
  ___/ \___
     \ /
      \_____/
      / \

I hope that made sense [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
doing things like that generally makes things alot cleaner and smoother looking, plus is alot more forgiving when it comes to lighting.

I don't know how the JK games handle it, but I notice you've got a couple places in the mesh where faces join without meeting at a vertex. In XWA at least that causes gaps in the model.

I'd also take a look at the "clip." It looks sort of odd, and the curve could be done without so many wasted polys (IE, build it with a series of boxes stacked one on top of each other, then move vertecies around to make it curve).

Then again I'm used to working in Rhino and am unfamiliar with how JED works, so maybe those are non-issues. In that case I wait for someone to correct me.

c-saw, see-saw. I get it. Cute.

Your model looks alright from the side, but would be very boxy from the front, top or back. Try moving the lowest handle vertexes in a bit to give it some curves.
If it breaks, you get to keep both pieces.
