I know that the trees are where they are, I mean there is literally some unstitched grass textures; one of the seams extends out from the road where it turns there near the bottom, and the other error protrudes from this seam.

The top part of the status display shows your current inventory of tank bullets, mines, and wood, as well as your current armor level. The bottom display shows the current inventory of the closest base (in this case, that green thing). By driving onto a base, you can refill your tank's supplies, up until a point that the base runs out. Bases slowly refill over time.

If you go to #massassi on mIRC, then you shoul know what Tanks is. A game where you use trajectory and power to destroy your opponent without moving.

... if I'm not mistaken, the game "Tanks" was released way back when in arcades. To be positive I'd have to research it, which, I'm too lazy to do. but I'm almost positive that the game "Tanks" was released waay earlier than 5/6 years ago.

The original poster said mIRC tanks. If there was an arcade version of tanks before that, then yeah.. But I was comparing Scorched Earth to the IRC tanks game.
