polygonal.

Thanks to MBeggar's resources, I was able to create this using the background image as a direct reference. Let me just say, it improved my performance by 30000000000000 percent.

Model: Sexyman.ms3d
Polygons: 1800
Build Time: Aprox 6 Hours
Game: The Underground Resistance Siege Mod for JK

Well, you guys, all of you, were right. After using a plausable reference (And the 'Set Background Image...' option) sketch, I was able to make a model that reaches much better quality than my former models.

Finally, if this receives the Okiedokie, I'll start making alien heads, and send it to Mr. Skyfighter for skinning.

Let me say, first off, that this is a large improvement over your past works. However, you're not really adding any anatomy. It has the OUTLINE of a well defined man, but there are no visible muscles. There's no division between the pectorals, no indication of any arm or leg muscles... in short, this should be a base. Muscle detail would need to be added before I'd really consider it a good model of a buff dude.

  • Tone down the chest. It just looks wrong. I'm pretty sure you aren't going for the "Mr. Universe" look.
  • The arms appear way to flabby. Put some muscles on there. I by no means am a muscular person, but I can still see where my muscles are.
  • Beef up those legs. They look like toothpicks down towards the bottom. Add muscles to them.

You get points for making actually look semi human this time instead of a voodoo or rag doll. Fix those few things I mentioned along with the various other things people have said and I think it'll look much better.

The legs still look a bit too short and the torso a bit too long. Besides that, and what the others said, I think it's looking pretty sexy.

Very disproportionate. I've seen people look like that, they don't look good. For this, you really have to think anatomy and just the general shape of a human male.

Males aren't that tight around the abdomen, it's pretty much a straight line down. The spine looks like as if he's pregnant or got into one really bad accident. Yes, the spine curves but not a whole lot.

The question is, can you handle so many polies? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

There seems to be no surface cap in 3do's, only a surface cap per mesh. I've been saying this for years...

The arms look too noodley.

Also, I really wouldn't suggest using one, human body for multiple alien models. it would just look weird.

It's not really a question of whether or not JK can handle the model; of course it can. It's a question of performance.

Depends on two factors:

1) The system it's be run on (d'oh)
2) How the 3do was constructed. Triangles render faster then squares. This is because if it's not a triangle, JK has to make it one. So if you already do it for it, then it prevents that function from having to be called, and thus increases performance. (or, something to that effect)

What is a sig you may ask. A sig is only a small factor in the flow of life. It is just a minor detail of the universe we live in. To understand the true purpose of this sig, you must understand how life influences it. To do that you must understand how the functions of life work in the world. There you shall know how time plays a role. Time and life are...you sir! Is that a monkey?
