JK Cart (working title)

This mod will feature 3 to 4 tracks in it's initial release. This one is called...

"Tube Surfer"

What features will distinguish this from the Roll mod?
Will there be selectable vehicles/skins?
Can yuo leave that one in? It's so cheezy it's funny. I'd like to ride in it.

-Will there be MKart-esque vehicular combat?

My favorite game of all time was Mario Kart for the SNES, I can't believe it never occured to me to make a map from that! Hey if you ever think about getting a mini-mod team going for it, count me in.

512x256? How did you manage to get those ingame with 3D accelleration enabled?

Looks sweet, but methinks it could use some better, IE non-base, textures. Less repetitive, at least.

I've been trying to make the textures as non-repetative as possible, but it's hard to do considing this level is over 100 JKUs long.

One big difference between this mod and the last beta of swoop will be true momentum (well, JK momentum anyway).

I don't have a release date yet. I want to say December 31st, but it all depends on my schedule. I can assure you however that it will be released within the next couple of months, even if it means releasing it before all of the features I want are incorporated.

Sorry, no grafitti in this map. I might request grafitti a little later though when I get started on the City map I have planned.

Here is another shot I had posted about 2 months ago. This is a very early shot of the bonus map Rainbow Road, a tribute to the original SNES Mario Kart.
