.......about a JK mod with no name.

Thats right. Instead of just continue on my plain old JK Kungfu Mod which ive worked on for god knows how long, i've decided to........expand it, sort of speak. The current name is, "JK Chinese Mafia Mod with Kungfu/Wire-Fu and Gun-kata", or "JKCMMWKFWFGK" :S If anyone can think of a cool name, that would be great

Anyways, onto the current work in progress, "Beretta 92f"






Its a current work in progress. I am currently looking for more of a team though. Here are the positions that need to be filled:

-1 to 2 Modellers
-1 to 2 Mappers
-1 Texture artist
-1 to 2 Coggers
-1 Animator

Id be really happy if some people would like to join, and help out with this great mod idea, as it is a work in progress. Enjoy

Personally, I don't really care if you remake Dark Fist in your own image, and I'd imagine Cave feels the same way.

Dark Fist was more of "The Matrix" then my mod. My mod isnt bullet time, or any of that crap, its also not Jujitsu or aidiko, plus I have a few more ideas for the mod that havnt been seen in other mods yet

A couple of things. For one, Dark Fist was heavily influenced by Chinese "Blood Operas", very stylish, violent movies that often featured the Chinese mafia. Second, you seem to be somewhat confused about the martial arts that were to be featured. Aikido is a sword/staff/etc. fighting style with only a secondary hand-to-hand component. And if you're trying to say that there's some massive difference between kung-fu and jujitsu, don't bother. While specific moves may differ, the basic ideas behind all hand-to-hand styles are the same. Finally, the "Matrix crap" was an afterthought and something I vehemently fought against. Ultimately, Cave and the other staff members voted against me on the matter, but whatever (old news).

Whatever these "new ideas" might be, chances are they've already been done in some other mod or would simply play/look horrible (especially in JK).

S51, not only was that not a suggestion, CC, or anything asked for in the creation of this topic, it was also already explained in the IRC, if you missed it.....well......:S
