some of you might possibly remember that I look after the website for my university rowing team....well i've updated the design to something I feel is a bit more....modern.

take a look and tell me what you think...

i'm aware of a few niggles that need fixing, anyone with any ideas let me know.

cheers

Looks nice, it's just that that little blue strip along the top is quite buggy. When you scroll down the page, it jiggles around a lot, and the far right of that strip is transluscent -- it's letting text and images show through. Aside from that, it looks pretty good. You might want to lighten that watermark in the background considerably, however. It's kind of hard to read the text that's in front of it.

It doesn't look half bad but the translucent text/background makes it hard to read.

The background repeats. It's only 1024*768.

You're waiting for Obi-Wan? Isn't that sweet. Personally, I've decided to wait for the quantum-biological supercomputer. My current system won't support what I have in store for my TC.

In any situation where I appear to be false, I assure you I am correct. In such a case, it is, in fact, reality that is mistaken.

yep, all the bug's you guys have said i'm aware of and trying to fix....problem is the normal code to get the background to stay fixed, (for some reason unknown to me) does not want to work properly with mozilla...whether i'm doing something wrong i'm unsure....but it works fine in IE, Netscape and opera but not mozilla...ggrrr and because the main uni browser is mozilla i've got to get it working right in that first....and i've based people viewing the site at 1024*768 as, again thats how the uni comps are setup....

i'll lighten the watermark i bit more and see if that helps....

menu bar doesn't jiggle on my pc or any that i've tried it on...what system are you running?

The menu bar jiggles when you use a mousewheel to scroll up in Opera. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Jiggles for me in Mozilla also. And my computer is most likely faster than yours.

The menu bar jiggles for me too. Using Mozilla 1.5.

Good, because at some points I've been able to get the menu bar more than halfway down the screen with fast scrolling. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]
