Erm, not a HOM error. HOM on purpose, actually. Why, you might ask? Because it's soooooo cool.


While this would have been easier to do with a simpler mirror setup, you would have to put in a lot more mirrors before it would get to a point that you couldn't tell anymore. Using curves, it cuts it down to about 3 copies before you can't see any more mirrors (out of LOS).

yes, but not easily, you'd have to make all the animations but with mirrored keys and all too. But with this many mirrors it's practically impossible.

Matyy.. that is ingame...

I ran into some 3do clipping problems in this test level, but it may just be due to the fact that I didn't manually assign the things to their proper sectors, I just let JED do it automaticvally. Sicne there are PLENTY of overlapping sectors in this method, thism ight be the cause. Dunno yet. But there haven't really been any sector clipping errors, which was my biggest fear originally with all of the overlapping sectors. I have a strong desire to make a giant circular room next, or one angled up... If it weren't for the visible adjoin limit, I'd put togetehr soem sort of mirror level. The screens gave me an idea for anther level though, so you might see some more work out of me.

(BTW, Hexidecimal should be ready for beta by next week, just have some more texturing to do, and a few to make)

[edit] Oh, yeah, and if anyone wants the JED file to play with it, you're welcome to it. It looks kind of weird, but basically once you get away from the first mirror or so you just start clipping off the spots that will NEVER be visible, to minimize the number of overlapping and redundant sectors.
