I agree with Flexor. It looks really cool if you look at the lights, but if you look at the black, it makes me feel.. sad.. and empty.. Like a bad movie.

What if you made them thinner and made more of them (as in.. 2-3x more?)

Did something very similar to that a long LONG time ago... Posted it here too. Somehow in the process of backups awhile back I lost the psd... Such a shame as it really did look almost EXACTLY like hyperspace from the movies.

I would assume his E Drive is his CD-ROM, and that is probably the game that is currently in the drive.

Question... how do you replace ALL shades of black with photoshop? I want the thing to be 100% transparent starting with black and 0% transparent with white. Then I can duplicate and flip the image to make twice as many stars.

Your question has probably already been answered, but if you set the layer mode to Screen, it makes all the black transparent. So yea...
