A DM level for JK in the works by me. A space station theme (obviously), with all new textures by HFX.

I like it. Nice cold atmosphere with good textures and archi too!

Ooooo, nice!
How about a space suite here and there... Maybe an airlock? Allow people to go outside? And the mercury... Make it a Wierd Teleporter! You breake the glass, hopp in, and go for a little joy ride to an orbiting space-ship. And of course, so nobody will follow you, respawning glass! How's That?
And are those blue lights in sreeny 2 going to be animated?

Yea, those blue lights HAVE to animate. A soft throb or something similar sould be perfect.

In the final pick, upper right you've got a bit of a texture misalignment.

Other then that, I love you.

Suggestion for the teleporter:
With some determination and some cleaving you could make the surface for that bounce, and make it actually look bouncy. That'd be an amazing effect, and it'd look badass.

those textures are awesome, the archi is amazing. what more can i say...?

well, i guess the whole teleporter bit would be cool. but i'm thinking actually have it as a pool of mercury. dive in and there's a huge big deep thing of it. it's like a vat of mercury.

Those are great ideas but make it so if your not wearing the space suit you decompress if you try and go through the air lock... remember the more body parts the better. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

Hm... Do bodies decompress in space, or if the air is taken away with such force?
Anyone seen 2001? I know what you're all thinking... FICTION! But, didn't the creaters ask Scientists for everything every step of the way? Who knows? Maybe one can hold ones breath for just so long... Let's try for 'drowning' a little, and if he hits the side of the station or ship when he's dead, THEN body parts!

Erm, I'm pretty sure the creator was a scientist. And your blood will boil, or whatever, but only if you have open cuts or a large wound. Skin is the best spacesuit of all.

ok, the whole space thing...
because there's no air pressure in space (coz there's no air, you will explode, simply because your body's internal pressure is greater than the pressure (or lack of) outside your body.

It's great work, but it doesn't look anyhting like JO.

I like the feel. The textures all go really well together.

Thanks for the praise everybody. I'm going to wrap this up in a couple of weeks and release it. Probably going to be one of my last JK levels... time to start working on JA editing!

HFX Textures. Sadly, it uses FilePlanet to house the texture packs, so the only textures you can get are the preview pictures.

Hmmm, I don't know whether I should release this as 8-bit, 16-bit, or both. Having it 8-bit really takes the blue out of the textures, and I think it looks too gray and metallic. Should I release 8-bit and 16-bit versions of the level seperately, or in the same gob?
