Some shots of a level I'd been working on for a while. I've taken it back up, and am going to finish it. The level was titled "DM - Twisted" when I started it, hence topic name. Just what came to mind.

(Note: These are hosted on Angelfire only because Massassi decided to be a pain...)



It is possible to get to the lava, and it does kill.

All I can see in that last shot is pitch black..that's it. and the rest of the shots are just black with orange squares... maybe some light would help?

I did that, for all those people like me who have CRAPPY monitors..because I really cannot see a bloody thing. Looks nice now that I can see it! really good.

No JO textures. Absolutely none. I enjoy making textures, besides which, I hated JO, and won't touch it or anything relating to it. Actually half the texturing will probably be temporary though, the textures are nice, but some parts just don't fit well enough together for me, though I may just edit those up a bit.

And there's only two particularly open spaces, one of which is a dead end so rather dangerous to be caught in. Most of it are thin sections maybe 1-1.5 kyles in height. (I'm trying to think of the JKU's... maybe .5 max) But open areas should still provide some nice gun battles (similar to the area at the top of the ramps of Oasis, or the open area beneath the conc spawn)

On another note: Several item 3do's have been changed to custom 3do's based on DF (Sorry, I just dislike JK's model's for them) This can be seen in the health packs.

The level is quite visible... I thought the shots were too, seemed fine to me. And I do have a crappy monitor.
