Recently I decided to study the art of webcomic artists so that I may learn to draw. These two are from my study of Gabe from Penny Arcade. They're simple. And not all that different. But I suck, so here they are.

i'd still say working on your own style is a better way of going about learning to draw.

Lots of people do, but the fact of the matter is that you need to learn how things go together first before you can stylize your drawings. I'm just skipping the whole 'drawing realistically' step and skipping right to the studying other people's work.

meh, usually when i draw, i dont even think about what i'm drawing, and just let it flow from the mind, these drawings are usually influenced an insane amount by whatever i'm listening to at the time.

Drawing 1 looks like a grown-up punkish charlie brown, which makes me laugh.
