I'd frown but then I'd risk turning into GBK.

This one is coming out, I promise. I'm also looking into getting back to a few other maps that I have... maybe. Maybe not.

The large FFA map will probably never come out as its just impossibly difficult to get to work right. That Q3 map I was doing I ended up chucking due to the fact that it wasn't exactly laid out as well as it could have been... the gameplay wasn't passable. The SP map is dead because I didn't have the time, due to school.

And I did release Turbulent just recently. This one is coming out soon enough, once I get some things finished and get a few assets from different peoples...

Damn this looks so good. It kinda looks like the town in KOTOR, and SWG put togeher. May I give a few idea's?

1. To make the city look more alive use the md3 of the land speeder anakin gave you. turn it into a func_train ,and route it around the city for some traffic.

2. As I noticed. Jawas always gather in groups of three. So they would make good pedestrians. Maybe add a few rodians and grans as thugs in a back alley.

3. You got to have the cantina dude. Nothing is more better than chopping off a thugs arm with a lightsaber. Or a good bar fight.

4. Air traffic. I noticed in both SWG, and Kotor there was ships flying over head.. That would really make a nice addition.

1.) I haven't gotten the landspeeder yet, we seem to be having some technical difficulties in that process. (My email is being a pain in the *** , basically.)

2-4.) This isn't a SP map. It's a duel level, actually...

In Ja multiplayer you can have npcs. But like I was saying, All those would make a nice addition.

Civilian NPCs dont exist... yet. I'm sure with some help from the people at LF, you can get some pretty nice civilian NPCs going, although you might have to script them since it's MP (add waypoints and stuff), but if you pull it off that would be really cool.

It would also add to the poly count in the scene, for a minor upgrade in ambience... right now my r_speeds are... iffy... at best... they're at the point where I'm worrying about adding anything else. Hell I'm considering taking some stuff out.

Yeah, it'd be interesting. But no, I don't think I'm going to do it, god knows as the level stands right now I'm going to get *****ed at about performance. (This is my fault for not thinking ahead, really.) It's certainly PLAYABLE, but if I went and added in NPCs, etc. etc. the frames would plummet. I just can't spare the polys.

If you kill an NPC, a point gets added to your score, therefore you could just kill a Jawa and win the duel. Major no-no.

Not only jawas. Make some back alleys. Add some rodian thugs with dl44's armed. They Will atleast shoot at you. Plus you don't want it to look like a ghost town.

It's a duel level. This is as big as its getting. I'm not adding NPCs, although I am going to be adding a bit more misc. stuff (junk piles, mostly) to make it appear a bit more... tatooine...ish...

I agree that the NPCs are unneeded.. but how about ships overhead? And would they really lower FPS *that* much?

Just having stuff like that to add liveliness would make more sense anyway, 'cuz, y'know, if you were a civilian, wouldn't you hide with people killing each other?

hmm i think thats your work is bit too dark. I means buildings CANT be such dark in day (when we got 2 suns on sky).. Rest fine. nice textures [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

The black space on the banners, which I assume is the transparent part, doesn't exactly line up with how the cloth would fold.
