Warning: 352KB. It's a bit larger than the ones you all have probably seen, but it still goes a bit fast, and doesn't make too much sense near the end. But it is a work in progress.

(All mouse drawn with a eraserhead laptop bouncing up and down on a bus. That's my excuse.)

Should I continue it? Anything I can improve on? Do I have too much time on my hands and should find a better hobby?

Dunno much about motion trails. I'll try, but I might ditch them, due to the fact that the graphic size is so small. (Making bigger ones takes longer also, and you miss little details, which looks REALLY bad.)

As for smooth combat, that'll be easy enough to do. It was stuttery on this one more because of laziness on my part than anything else. You can get quite good framerate with it if you want, just requires you to do a lot more animation per every second.
