"The System has you"
My mind is dry,
The horizon's distant,
rainclouds coming in an instant,
Across the floor papers spread,
Soundtrack looping, watch the dead,
What got them? Where'd they go?
What'd they do? What'd they know?
A pistol empty by the table,
Defense and offense were not able?
It is watching. It always was.
We all fall victim just because.
A passing stranger in the night.
That parked car to the right.
In your home as you sleep.
Across your floor it does creep.
Dismal sky grey and hazy,
Watchful eyes make us crazy,
Dare to speak it's name?
It knows your thoughts just the same.
'The System' has you every moment,
It is the cause of all your torment.
It's in your school every day,
It hears every single word you say.
It's hard to see, just like the breeze
but we know it's there, waiting in ease.
Now lets us join amidst the night
and plan our war, our chance, our fight.
It's strikes at random like a dice,
but just one victim will not suffice.
They fall away, one by one.
No one remembers what they've done.
The system tells you to forget
No longer in your memory are they set
And so people vanish to and fro
Still we'll wonder where'd they go...
Well that's a poem I just wrote to explain my mind right now as I plot to save one of my freinds from my own crazy-ness....
