Some are new, some are rather old... All were made for JK, which is why none of them exceed 256x256.

All street textures, for a level based on the Genesis Shadowrun version of Seattle.

Walls of buildings, and just edges of the map. The buildingswall textures were directly based off a 64x64 pic from the game.

Textures for a hotel level I'm still working on. The floortiles were made for a pool. The grating texture was made to surround an elevator. The 4th is for a ceiling. And elegant wood panneling for use on some of the walls.

Noise is a terrible way to add detail.

Another set of textures... BTW, use 'em if you want, just give me some credit. And if people want custom textures, just ask. I don't got much better to do.

These I just made messing around with some effects in PSP and other image editors.

Sand texture was made for some level. I can't think of which one of mine off hand. The smooth ground was my replacement for the swirly ground texture in BGJ, for a level for JSM clan. (The level included BGJ... not my design, I just retextured) And starspr2 was created as a horizon for an alien environment.

Made just recently. Bored so decided to make a texture. What it could be used for... sides of buildings of course.

Not all of these are my best work, but what I could find easily and quickly. Decided to post these, just to see what people think, and because I'm a bit tired of seeing only poetry and art.

Which texture you talking about Emon?

(As for that windows texture, I'll probably redo it... It's a bit blurry for my tastes... unfortunately, I didn't think to save the work in progress versions... so I'll have to go through recreating it.)

Prolly the first 3 (mostly #2 is my guess). They look great, regardless. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

They all look like you applied a noise filter to them. The wood is ruined by it.

Do you care if I use this texture:

In a level I'm currently working on? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Go ahead. I can get you a better copy (That isn't lossless JPEG compression... trying to keep files small)

Uhm, here.

If you want something done to it (Such as a cleaner version or different material texturing), just ask. I still got the original base of it.

Well, for an explanation of noise throughout (never used for detail, effect in some cases)...

Let's see, first three yes, to get a pebbly effect for a road. The yellow of the sidewalk one is actually just a PSP airbrush. Next five, no noise whatsoever. Next one, yes, blended in to avoid looking like a single color. Next two no. (The second one somewhat looks it because it was made to be an 8-bit texture, and has error diffusion patterning) One after that, yes, and I've seen cieling tiles like that, which is why I did it. Next two, no. That brighter wood somewhat looks like it, but I believe that was an effect of lightening it, from the original darker color, like it is in the second wood texture.

Ran it through a median filter here...
The noise is just essentially a part of the starting wood texture. It's less noticeable I suppose in the darker wood.

Corrugated, I think a small bit, before some modifications and effects, to prevent it from being completely uniform.

Note the difference.

Next texture... Don't think so, but I don't have any idea how I made it.
Sand, yes. Sand tends to have grains, and not be smooth. Next two, no. Last one, yes, felt it created a more realistic look to it.

Btw, anyone know a good place to host images?

You can use the Image Corner, but you can only host 8 pics at a time.

Noise filter or no, it appears that you used one, and that's all that'd going to matter to the player that sees them. Especially on that wood. Seriously, find me a photo of some wood that looks like that in real life. You probably won't find one unless you poke it with a sharp point a few thousand times all over.
