Sue me for not making relevant topic titles.

JA Duel map, WIP, trying to get it released before the contest over at LevelSource starts - this is merely a warm-up.

Looks good. The pathways seem a bit hard to traverse, though I realize it's supposed to be a bit abstract. Very good work nonetheless. Something about it reminds me of the old JK level I did called Fort Zion: I think the walls and arches.

Some people shouldn't be allowed to use any level editors when making a level... It's just not fair.

Looks amazing!
Only suggestion is to align the brick textures on the sides of the two bridges with the flow of the bridges, rather then just having the textures continue straight like the rest of the brick textures.

WOW! Excellent work as always.

My only suggestion for the future is to move away from the whole "Jedi Temple" feel. It's been done to death. Try a "Duel Dagobah" or Naboo or something. You're one of those guys that can pull it off, and pull it off well.

Dagobah is mine for the LevelSource contest! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

You did a nice job using those textures, GothicX, they're some of Raven's best ones in my opinion.

Looks good. At first I thought it was JK, but then I noticed who posted. Looks quite good though. Some of that lighting looks odd the way it is though. I'm meaning mainly in the last two pics...

need a different texture for those curved arch/bridge/things. at least dis-allign them from the wall the connect to, because it looks like they were cut out of one big giant textured block. :x

Also, the latest screens aren't showing for me.

Stupid Freewebs, bah. Anyways, I've changed that brick texture now, and figured what went wrong with the lighting - I was messing arround with the angles of my entity suns in the XY window, and forgot to check the Z before compiling.

If anyone has a more reliable host for the screens, please, tell me.

Still trying to add in a portal sky, but it doesn't really work that much. (At least, it does work, but looks like poo.)

Good shots. They certainly show your ability for very interesting and innovative architecture. There are a few (just very few) places with the texturing that don't seem so natural to me, but I think it's just my opinion, and thus I won't say anything more.

However, you could also, just in order to see how it would look like, add some crenellation on top of the walls. Maybe not even the standard square, but something more elaborate.

It looks Awsome, but How did you get that erie (sp) glow around those shaders in that last screenie. Is it something to changed in the shader file, or was it done in radiant?

Actually, that's the Dynamic Glow effect, enabled by setting r_dynamicglow to 1, and adding "glow" to the shader's lightmap stage. This shader was default with JA, though.
