We got an assignment in english class tow rite an 84 or more word sentence. I decided to write it about something a bit more interesting than a hobby.

A bloody storm rages outside; the rain, sheeting down the window, washes the grime and spots of dirt from the smooth surface of the glass, ripples the violent flickers of light on the wall and blurs the blowing world in sight and sound; drowning the cracking cry of an ancient life bowing to the almighty torrent, not daring to stand firm against the shrieking banshees trying desperately to rend it from its lifelong claim; while a restful bystander watches with vague disinterest, blissfully unaware of the direction the wind is screaming or the way the tree is canting.

Comments? It also ahs to be grammatically and syntactically sound, so if you notice anything....

Nice. Very effective. Although I might use a word other than 'bloody' to describe the storm.

I had vicious in the first version, is that better? I wanted a word that rought iamges of battle to mind...*looks in thesaurus more*

[Edit: I like sanguinary, but the word doesn't really fit with the rest. Savage also works....any suggestions?]

Savage is good.
Apocalyptic is better.
Cyclonic is better than better.

My 2 cents.
