Loop? You mean tile, right?

Oh, and put some mis-colored brown bricks in there, maybe some white stuff too. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

First off, the vertical mortar lines are perfectly clear, but not so with your horizontal. Secondly the whole thing looks like it's been enlarged from a smaller picture. It's in general too blurred. There's no real texturing (which is why someone mentioned liquid bricks), and the whole thing just looks off.

It's lost any 3dimensionality now. There's little variation. And still a cloud filter. As far as I can tell, only difference with this one is a sharpen filter, and maybe decreased contrast. It looks like scratches in mud or clay.

Well These are all created at school I have used all my study hall time to make these. on a school comp. The only two programs I use is Paint, and Photoeditor. And they both suck.

I was thinking that but I wish I had the option to add transparancy to it.

You could, if you used *real* programs. :S

The latest one is better, but still misses alot. The mortar for example shouldn't be red, but grey, a bit of variation in colour between the bricks would be good.

Me too, sure its a viable excuse but no one wants to see crappy textures just because all you had to work with was ms paint. Nobody is going to use them, so you may as well at least get a trial of photoshop or at least gimp so you can make something decent enough for people to actually want and use, which I bet you could considering that these ones are not completely horrible and they were done in ms paint, but honestly I could (anyone could, Im not bragging) turn that brick into a nice texture in less then a minute in photoshop.

Well certainly I wouldn't mind him using paint and photoeditor, if he were frickin'ly good with it. But apperently he isn't (eventhough the above is already far better than something I could do with paint.), so I think it's wiser for him to use a different program. Like Raoul Duke said, noone is going to say "Hey, that texture sucks, but it's made with paint so I'll use it anyway! People will understand.".
Not that the texture sucks; it just needs work.

Don't blame problems on MSPaint. If nothing else, you could edit pixel by pixel. Yes, it's possible, just time consuming, and requiring a good bit of skill. And as suggested, if nothing else you could use gimp, which is freeware, to edit. MSPaint is generally better served to little kids making appropriately simple drawings, unless you're going to edit the actual pixels.
