I have begun basic construction of the level I said I would do. Should have some shots up within a week.

On another note, I haven't been this excited about working on a project since I joined TPMTC all those years ago.

Where are you spending all those polys? The legs and feet are essentially just squares. And the cel-shading that you're using doesn't really work..

Hrmmm... not liking the blurriness of a lot of those lines. Is there any way to make the skin more detailed, like maybe make the UVmap a higher resolution? I just dont like it. Maybe it's just me.

I doubt any blurriness will be visible in game. That's an extreme close-up, something you won't encounter often in-game.

You cant do much with 1500 polys you know, all the details went on the head as usual. The feet are blocky because that's how they looked to me...personal choice.

In case you didnt know, cell shading doubles the polycount...that would mean 6000 polys if i were to use the regular poly limit of 3000.

...and that blur is caused by the close-up and uvw mapping.

I wasn't a huge fan of the cartoon... maybe it was the time-limit, or the overly-cartoonish animation, but I like what you've done with the cell shading. Pretty much dead on.

I'm sorry, but while the stuff from the Atack of The Clones project look just [drools], I am ASHAMED to look upon that cell-shaded screenie from the Clone Wars project. The series was... ok (well, what hey've bothered to broadcast in Canada so far), but cell shading with that colour pallate is just... wrong somehow.
