The slide is too tall, the barrel the too short, the handle isnt big enough. And the texture looks raped. And the edges dont look good.


Other than that, it looks great...

The textures look like they are too bog for the model. They make the gun look small, which isn't the case with a desert eagle

I must agree, the texture looks as if it was raped from a photo of a BB gun. But I think it does not look too bad for JK. Post an ingame shot and we might be surprised.

Looks great, and is definitely better than my stuff.

Of course, I don't have the best idea of what a DE looks like (only one I've seen is in SS3 and FR97), so I can't be a judge on accuracy.

And yes, one of many editing laws...

I didn't put it in game yet, but here's some pictures of the model without the textures:

Looks small for a Desert Eagle. I remember looking at a DE first hand, the barrel was definitely longer. The grip is too small too, I can imagine much finger crampage.

No offense to your design, I think it's an awesome gun. I just don't think it necessarily pertains exactly to a Desert Eagle. Personally I think the best DE in JK was the one in SavageX' SS3 Beta 9.0! That gun did and still does rock. I love the little laser sight. Maybe you might want to use that as a reference.

Ultimately though, none of us can compete with Hellcat when it comes to firearms in JK!
