Well I finally got around colouring it with Paint Shop Pro.
I I think it still needs some kind of background, but I'm going to worry about that later.

Perhaps make the original glow part even brighter...

Try not, do; or do not.

It's very bright, but also transparent, so the black background makes it look darker than it is, So it should become brighter when I create a background. But I'll keep it in mind, to take notice of it.

The shading, coloring, texturing, those are great.

The guy - his proportions are pretty off, to be honest, but he does appear to be an alien or something, so I'll just drop that one.
