YOu know, for some odd reason, I saw those and thought of CD Jewel Case art. I don't know why. I got that feeling big time when I saw the last one.

Weird stuff.

Get better film. If you're using digital, start using film.

I would assume the pics look that way for a reason. It gives it a creppier feel.

The last picture reminds me of a photograph from the Slipknot s/t cd inlay, Joey Jordison looks like he is skipping along with all these ominous masked *******s around him.

powertickle,
I am using Ilford B&W XP-C41 400, and my camera is a Nikon N-65. They look bad because it was a low qulaity scanner, and the colour is off because of that also. I printed several today in the darkroom on "true" b&w, and they look much better. Also, I was able to crop more. I can post more pics if anyone would like.

And any other ideas? My teacher asked me to reshoot the session, so I'll be doing it again next week.

What were the photos that everybody was "taking over and over"?

...Anyway, those shots look convincingly creepy, enough to be used professionally, I might add... I wonder how it might look in a music video...

I almost feel like the photos should have a dirtier feel, they appear too clean.

[edit - don't get me wrong, it's a wonderful and creative idea for subjects, and the photos are great.]

theres your problem right there. Ilford Delta is the only way to go. and you say its c-41 processing? you do know that that's color film designed to print in B&W. that orange tint is going to be a ***** to get rid of, unless you intentionally want the sepia tone.

basically you want to get a B&W film that says "professional" on the box. Really, you get much nicer prints. the Ilford Delta 400 is highly recommended.

It's actually green tint, and Ford is right. C-41 is the devil.

Get some Tri-X or some Plus-X film. Quality stuff.

When I print the pictures myself, they turn out fine, and thats all that matters.
