I'm posting this to get comments on both my site and my work...

I've had flash for 7 days now, and I wanted to make something as an exercise. I've also wanted a nice website for a while, so I put the two together and made a flash website for myself. Any feedback would be really appreciated.

Thanks for the comments everybody!

I'm always amazed how I get more comments and more help at this site than at sites dedicated to this sort of thing...

Thanks for replying guys! I'm starting working on another webpage for school now, we're doing a fake presidential election and I'm the media advisor. I get to make posters, flyers, commercials, and a website for my candidate. We only have a temp page up for now, but we should be getting the real site up soon. All this at www.voteandy.com

I hate to play devils advocate, but your whole design is 100% reliant on having flash installed.

Flash really should be used to accentuate the interface, not create the interface. If the user doesn't have flash, then they won't really be able to see and do anything on your site.

Other than that, that's some nice flash work. Having some sort of animated rollover effects on the links would really add to it.

although i have flash Mx 2004, I still prefer using Adobe Livemotion 2.0 for small simple flash jobs over Flash MX. It's just more streamlined and it integrates seamlessly with other Adobe products.

Most people regard me as the dark and immoral side of Massassi. At least I'm getting what I want out of life.
