Question:

Ive kept saying I will release this mod and I never do. in fact I have NEVER ever released anything for massassi.

Well its time I changed that, but no, its not the full mod.

What would you think about me releasing a JKSG1 "taster" mod. It would have about 3 weapons in it. Which ones are down to you.

Geeze, that's a crap load of detail for JK. Any problems with HOM yet? Framerate? It looks like the framerate is pretty low in that last shot...

I hope it runs smooth, because it looks amazing! I love the last shot. Those computers and the spiral stairs are top notch.

Agreed. For the first picture, for a brief moment I thought that it wasn't JK (even though I saw the yellow text). It looks so great. Same with the other screenshots, but the first one looks so damn cool.

All 3do's. Problem is the level will be approucghing the thing limit. With the help of GBK this could be over come.

Yeah, this will be essential, since bullets and other dynamically created objects also try to enter the thing list...which would fail occasionally with a near full list already at level startup. And that would lead to VERY unreliable weapons.

All of you seem to be neglecting the human side of this. Last time I checked, I didn't have a little yeerk (please don't kill me) swimming around in my skull. I definitely think, for balance's sake, you should include:

FN Mini Para Including this would be awesome, but I don't remember having seen any screenshots of it. It definitely seems a bit more long range and versatile than that P90 that we've seen so much of. The P90, however, would work just as well.

Grenades These would be the other human advantage and a good starting additional weapon for SP.

The weapons of alien design are obviously sickeningly more powerful than most of the military equipment we puny humans can muster.

The Staff As the basic weapon of the enemy and the most likely for the player to acquire in battle, this would definitely be suitable.

Zat'nik'atel We've seen it, we love it. And the taster could allow everyone to use it.

This would allow for pretty balanced gameplay for both sides and allow humans to actually be able to prefer their own weapons and hold their own. I undertsand that previous builds of this mod have been incompatible with multiplayer. I hope you figure out some way of remedying this, as the duality of the weapons readout is very conducive to multiplay, however (beign a TACC) I definitely would love a SP demo of the mount as well.

Looks great , as always. I pick the Beretta, staff, and P90 for the taster.

One of the best parts is that it's for JK. It shows both JK editing talent and keeps the game alive (not that JK's gonna die anytime soon )

Well, these are the essential Stargate weapons. I doubt that some knife and grenades will provide the Stargate feeling. And the lack of this feeling will ruin the mod (for me at least).
Or why do you think the game companies always include the core of a game in a demo? Just imagine a demo of Quake3 with only the gauntlet, machinegun and grenadelauncher...
