That really doesn't look that bad. Increase contrast so the scaling is a bit more evident, and remove that seam at the back. I don't know what color it's supposed to be, but I think it'd look better either green or brown.

put simply, and although it may be hrd to do, it would be the greatest thing ever if it had feathers. Maybe you could get Murc to help you with that, cause they would need to be animated.

Because people always seem to post here with "This sucks" as the title, and it gets old after everyone and their brother does it multiple times. If you don't like something, don't post a topic for it, or else put your personal comments in the post itself. Thread titles should be descriptive of what is inside..

The only thing that looks out of place is the lighting on the back of the head, for the rest of it you have the lighting coming from the front yet there is a light spot at the back which looks weird since directly below that it's very dark.

Other than that, good job.

I always imagined it as a type of alien, more then a bird/alien. I think he looked better untextured :P I like the eye though! I just pictured it as a greyish green tinted alien thing guy...with a tail.. I dunno.

Um, is there any particular reason this got SotD? With no offense to Thrawn, it seems like there's some other stuff that better deserves it. It just seems odd when two of his models get SotD in a row.
