I tend to do all of my Matrix-esq drawings as stick figures. They tend to look quite bad. For some reason, this also makes them incredibly funny.

I do something similar, except that I don't really put any thought into where the pencil/pen goes... I end up with random scribblings, and weird patterns... I go through a lot of paper like that.
