Some odd texture choices...

I'm not a big fan of the chains on the columns at the door... maybe some funcPendulum would make them badass.

Looks like a good start. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

But are you using ambient lighting to light your room?

Also you might want to not use those chains.

1st. Without the colums at the door it just look a bit strange. It doesnt look at something at all. Just to empty!
2end. Uhhhh. What exactly is a func_pendelum. I now it has to do something with the door in korribian. At the end when you approach Tavion. But i dont know how to get it working.

Maybe some help needed with that func_pendelum.
I am busy with the fourth room.

With a simple door-approach you can open the first door.
The second with a door-approach.
The third you need to push two buttons, a trigger_counter (i think they are called that way) pick the fire's (triggering) up and opens the door.

Func_Pedulem makes things sway. The chains from the columns would look cool if the pedulems swayed. I'm not a Q3 editor, so I'm not sure exactly how to use any funtions, but I know what they do.

Well then, now you learned not to make that mistake.

The entire purpose of the autosave.map is so you can get your map back if you do happen to mess up on it, or lose the file etc. I would say that you should never work with an autosave.map for longer than a minute before saving it as something else.

Oh, dear God. Well, this is one to add to the "hall of n00bs". On the bright side though, at least your maps directory isn't as cluttered as mine (probably due to the 20 some-odd porjects that i have accumulated over the past few months)

Still, you should ALWAYS save your map under its own name (like duel_yourmaphere).

Admittedly, the map itself looked pretty good, but it was quite cramped, overly bright (i'm assuming as it was a WiP), and the textures fit together a bit strangely.

So, what are you going to do now? (what ever it is, good luck, and take this lession to heart!)

I always make backup-copies from my map at when I end my editing for that day... I usually have 1-2 backups, I have lost too many maps when I haven't maked back-up's(JK2rad...).

True, but how many months have you had those maps? (it's been only about 3 months since my last reformat)
