The texture on the heat-sink, when wrapping around the front, is off.

The trigger guard looks a tad thick.

The texture on the brace-adhesive for the aiming-sight on the barel looks like there's a random hole. I think this is supposed to be a burn, but it just sticks out.

The texture for the reloader-thingy almost looks blue, maybe some tint correction would fix this.

This could be from JPG compression, or the lack of 32 bit textures, but the entire butt looks granulated. Maybe if it's a bit problem, you could resave the raw-images as 32 bit and apply them just so we can see what it'd look like, in say, JA.

Lastly, is the cap for the scope actually indented, or is that just godly texture work? Because that looks like it's indented, and that'd just be a waste if it is. How many polygons is the entire thing, and what is the gun's name?

Some of you may think I'm overanalysing, but when a model is this good, it doesn't hurt to help to make it perfect. I'm sure Ruthven loves the 'omq, u rox' posts, but I also think he, like many of us modelers, would love some constructive feedback in order to better their models and abilities.

I'd like to take a look at it in MS3D, next time you see me.

I remember quite clearly from ages ago that you used to photo rape a la NC also.

Its a great model for Q3 or HL but I don't think its high enough for HL2 or DOOM3. Massive blur an hazing would take care of the graininess .. but custom textures are always better as you can pull off greater effects.

The only thing I think need to be fixed on that gun are A: the flash suppressor on the end of the barrel (I think that's what it is) needs to be less conical, as it looks like the suppressor from a Star Wars gun, and B: The trigger guard needs to be narrowed.

Other than that, excellent work. I wish I could texture as well as model, since it'd be nice to have finished models rather than untextured 3dos.

Sorry dude, its just the way the text was incorrectly wrapped across the bit above the handle and the section round there looked inconsistant to the front of the gun.
