I'm trying to learn the ins and outs of md3 editing. So far I've managed to make three "decent" models with rough textures. Thoughts? (They all have shaders, the reflexions aren't static)

I think it'd be easier to just create those objects in Radiant..

Yeah... I know [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif] but I didn't for several reasons. First off I need to learn how to model [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] and secondly I'm forced to use JK2Radient which doesn't let me turn off snap hence making it very very difficult to make anything too intricite. And lastly I am far from having your skill in Radient [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Why can't you use GTKRadiant? It's like ... 1000000x better.

And if you have JA, I HIGHLY recommend you make it for that instead.

GTKRadient has some kind of texture issue in which it refuses to show anything but white textures half the time, it constantly crashes (more that jk2radient which is pretty bad) and it eats up like 3 times the memory, at least on my machine. I was sick of trying to fix it. And right now it could go either way, it's really really easy to port JO maps to JA and since 90% of the textures are my original textures it won't be an issue [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] Right now I've got it in JO just because [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]

Erm, I think he did, if you look in the background of the shot with the Hylian Shield.

make the stones more transparent, and make them give off some more than normal amounts of light, i mean they are magical...

Nice!

You forgot the medallion from the Deku Tree.

[You should download the Link model and do future images with him in it. The model is pretty well done.]

Master Sword is made [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif] I just haven't textured it nicely yet, the kokari emerald is the same [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif]. I'll work on updating the shaders [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

I think I'm getting at least a little bit better, redid the master sword today, my old one was really quite horrible. Gems are also seethrough now and everything is sized just about right. Thoughts?
