You may have noticed I haven't posted here in a while... in fact, I haven't posted here since I got UT2004.
Here's what I have been working on in UT2004 for the past few days. These shots are all in the editor because I haven't got it working in-game yet. It's Onslaught.
Overview of the whole level so far (Finished aesthetically and architecturally, need to finish pathnoding).
One of the side nodes of the small buildings. The other small building you see far away is an exact mirror of this. And...
The inside of the small building. The node is located inside so you can't snipe it, and so vehicles can;t dominate it. Good ol' cramped fraggin' only here!
The middle node, and most important. Most important because there are the only turrets on top of this building (six of them), AND six Raptors, whereas the main bases for each side only have 3 Raptors each, and the side nodes only have 2 each.
Old shot of the red base. What I added since this shot: 3 Raptors on the edge closest to the camera, the Basecore is in that nook in the corner (There is glass in those windows, so you can't snipe the core), and flags on the building depicting the side it belongs to.
So, here's the gig: Small ONS map, Raptor only (For the UT2004-deprived, the Raptor is the main Air to Air atmosphere craft), no ground or hovering vehicles, two basecores on opposite sides, 3 nodes in-between. The two nodes on the smaller buildings are unlocked right away, and you need to possess one of them to unlock the middle node, which has 6 turrets on top of it. That's it! Simple enough?
