A friend and I have created a JK2/JA Mapping Tutorial site that features not only html tutorials, but video demonstrations as well. We hope this helps all new mappers learn thier way around Radiant. http://www.sentient-studios.com/main/

The tutorials are real nice. I wish I had them back when I started mapping. It would have made things much easier.

Sweet, now I might be able to understand JA map making..

Nice idea with the tutorials, just hope you can afford the bandwith hits. Anyway, definately change the link colors, its aggarvating.

ALSO, VERY IMPORTANT:

STOP USING JK2RAD. I don't even consider it a real editor. It is just so bad. GTKRadiant is much better, faster, has a better BSP program (although it can be used with JK2Rad, it is a pain), more stable, more compatible, and overall just plain better.

I suggest using GTKRadiant, and also mentioning to the viewers that they use it too, to avoid problems. A problem with your videos will be is that the interface will vary slightly, so that will throw newbies off.

JK2Radiant sucks even more than Blood Asp does.

Also, I wanted to sign up to your site, but the confirmation e-mail never arrived.

We were having some problems with the mailhost on our servers. I'm working to sort these out. Try and login with your user/pass. (=
