Sketches from a viking
2004-04-08, 8:19 PM #1
Note: I have Krig the Viking's permission to post these sketches. He's a fellow Massassian, and isn't banned or anything, just an ISB hermit. If this is a problem, however, let me know and I'll delete this thread.

While waiting for a graphic tablet, our main NeS comic artist does sketches every once in a while, and these are some of the latest that he has sent me.

1 - Enchilada Man, Thrawn[lotsofnumbers] and CoolMatty:

2 - Gebohq and Evil Geb, some other Geb faces (the one with the pale eye is Qhobeg), Krig and Ford:

3 - From left to right is Geb the writer, Gebohq, Evil Geb, and Qhobeg (playing Gamecube):

Also from Krig, not NeS-related, but you all would probably be more receptive to it... the MBS outfit!

For the record, this was all Geb's idea.

CM is dead on except that he wears a black t-shirt that says ph34r under it. Just so you know ... if he takes his cloak off or anything.

I love all the drawings ... they look really good.

I'm modeling the MBS guy... that's sickeningly sweet looking.

Just so there isn't any confusion, Geb the writer is based moreso on Geb the character than me in real-life. Here's a pic so you can see:

w00t! Glad I got it right (and I'll remember about the shirt). I based it off a sketch I think you did -- was it in the workshop thread? Blast I have a horrible memory. But yes. w00t indeed.

Tracer: No. He's just cool.

Plus, I'm gearing up for his appearance in NeSi. Assuming I'm able to get my hands on a drawing tablet some time in the next century.

CM: Gotcha.

Krig is a master. I can't wait for the comic to get back in action. I'm positively inspired, so I'll go draw now. :]

Fantastic. My only complaint is that my eyes shouldn't be lines. They were narrowed in the picture I drew, but they aren't always like that and they were certainly never lines. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] Great work!

Thrawn42689 - You sure? Because they look really cool as lines, IMHO... it gives him a distinctive look that no other character has. Who wants boring normal eyes?

Well, there's still the fact that the eyes have no pupils. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif] Also, Qhobeg's "pale eye" switched sides in your two pictures of him. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]
