I know it's not completely professional looking, but it gets the point across. I'd appreciate any comments, EXCEPT on the drawing section. That was the first drawing class I ever took, so I know that stuff isn't too hot looking. Check it out here: http://members.cox.net/c.delsesto/portfolio

Im not usually charitable, but feel free to use these or learn from them (i.e. a little cropping and some contrast adjusting goes a long way):

And heres some advice and coments:

The layout is pretty strong, though nothing out of the ordinary. You may want to try and fix the line that shows up between your tabled images in the top row. As far as your images (note this is not a critique on your artistic abilities) digital cameras are bad...in fact bad digital cameras are even worse, ESPECIALLY for 2D images. It is wise to invest in a scanner if youre planning on entering into the art field (be it digital art, 3d modeling, graphic design, animation, or whatever) chances are youre going to need one eventually. If its not in your budget currently, thats ok too, but im sure you can find someone that has a scanner, or perhaps your school has one that can be made availiable to you, at any rate, ditch the crappy photos as it reflects on your workmanship and just doesnt do your work justice.

Also, why is that portrait crumpled up? Obviously this isnt something to be submited professionally, but again it reflects your workmanship.

All in all, you have a good start on it, dont give up or get frustrated. If you dont like something, find a way to change it (im currently on my 9th version of my portfolio) because if youre not happy with it, how can you positively present it to somebody else?

Again, keep at it, and good luck [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

Where are you applying to?

You may also want to explain a bit about the limited tools you worked with. The JK animations suddenly are a whole lot more impressive if you explain you were working with obsolete technology from 1997. You didn't even have bones to work with. You may even throw in, subtly, how they are far superior to the game's originals.
