I really like the first one, even though it's a furry. Your linework shows confidence. Good attention to detail with the reflection and all. Just wondering where the other leg went? Stronger darker shadows with softer pencils would help distinguish the lighsource better too.

I think the second would work better if it wasn't linework based. Try placing thicker lines around the contours and shapes to get the parts to stand out more. I don't know if it's your design or someone else's, it does look very typical though (you can take that as a compliment too if you want to).

Very promising, keep it up.

Yeah, I have designed the Gundam myself. 'Tis an old version of it though.

The other leg on the furry is behind the tail. And I agree with the shadowing. Unfortunatley, the strong shadows became washed out when I applied paper stumping on it.
