Yes, it sucks that there are telephone wires between my backyard and the sunset. I need to get on the roof [http://forums.massassi.net/html/tongue.gif].

Once again I have multiple sizes (all the way up to 1600x1200) if someone wishes to use one as a desktop image or something.

It would look good... but those massive black lines jotting through the middle of the image ruins the setting.. lol, j/k, would look great without the electric lines

yes, rid those pictures of the powerlines. Try to get some without the trees too. and that last one is in desperate need of cropping

You need to come out here. Sunsets over the Pacific horizon on a Santa Ana day are beautiful. Why oh why did I ever delete those photographs. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

You should make another one (when the sky is right) around the pool but make certain more is reflected in the pool because that gives a really awesome effect.

Those are pretty cool (except for the wires of course). Although personally I find skies alone a tad boring.. you need something in the foreground like a quiet lake or river for the sunset colors to reflect on, it creates a nice effect.. Or if you have any neat architecture or houses in your area, you can use that too.

...or you could just build what you want in terragen or bryce and render it. True, its not as good as the real thing, but it beats waiting around until real-life situations are what you want them to be.

Hell yes!
Lyrics are highly overrated.

Those are nice pictures. I like them.

Here's something to try:

Take a picture of just the sky, flip it upside down, and do a colour equalization on it... If you get it with the right clouds, it looks almost exactly like pictures taken of earth from space. It's cool.

Done. Although, I only did this one. Saberopus, if you'd like me to do the rest, just give me a shout. I'd be more than happy to. Even on the 1600x1200 versions.

wow that really surprised me [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif].

I expected someone to do a crap job. Thanks.... feel free to do the rest if you want (however, I have photoshop 7.0, so if you could just post how you did it, it'd be no problem for me to do it) I'm assuming you used the healing brush or the clone tool.

I used the patch tool for the big areas around the lines, just select close to them and then drag the selection to the top or bottom for a close match. In around the trees I ended up using the clone tool with something like a 1 or 2 pixel brush.

That's how I did it. It's easy while you're in the open, around the trees it gets tough and more tedious.
