The Final Lover
Tom Pennington

Come, my friend, the reaper grim
And steal my breath at your whim
But a moment, only so
A bird may sing before I go
Dearest friend, I ask you this
Before the last, eternal kiss
Spare one flower from your cold
And give to it my withered soul

...make sure you read it carefully.

"i've seen alot of kids (i'm 35) come on here and ask for advice about girls. look at potato here. he makes a tape and sings to a girl. some girls will laugh in your face, some behind your back and then some might love you for it. potato is a man. a man with a girl. -Darth Evad

When I have a cold, I don't like to lend other people flowers... maybe you could offer death a box of tissues for his cold in exchange for a flower to be soul tied with. Sorry, couldn't resist:P I'm terribly insensitive.

you read it wrong anyway, and I don't mean figuratively, you mixed two words up in the last line

Gotcha! Actually I didn't think it was bad at all, just after seeing the words "your cold" I couldn't get the image of a sniffling death out of my head. Hey, sniffling death! Good name for a band, I think.
