well, i actually was going for that sorta look, i exported it in 50% quality, but i'll try it with 100%. more updates soon

Very interesting. I have no complaints about the background. I think the graphics were quite good. But maybe you should make the fuel and life drain a bit slower. And the laser thing shooting up was draining life even when I was standing clearly out of the way, in my opinion at least, so I think that should be restricted more carefully.

But I think this will be a great game with the choices you give for the power usage. It gives room for some tactics, if you design the levels / enemies carefully.
