<Outlaw_Torn> you mean your related to that damned sasquatch, Mech?
<MechWarrior> Lets just say the part of the family tree that does fork has bossy the goat in it.

<ubuu> does hitler have a last name?

It's not dark ingame, at all.

EDIT: As well, you might be looking at the part that isn't lit fully by the sun, being the portal sky in the first pic.

QFE. Needs more green. Or yellow. Something Naboo-esque.

Saberopus is right: it doesn't look like Naboo. Texturally or architecturally. it looks almost like a fusion of the prequil architecture from Coruscant and the nemoidian Trade Federation Battleships, with a dash of Bespin and the various imperial locales from the original trilogy. gives me an idea though. Thanx! [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

*edit* If you want it to look a bit mroe like Naboo, i'd recommend adding some plants in pots, gold/peachy-toned stone textures cabanna-style hangings around the perimeter (solid-colour) and a tuscany-style roof to cap it off. some source of water might also be in order [http://forums.massassi.net/html/wink.gif].

50000 episodes of badmouthing and screaming like a constipated goat cant be wrong. - Mr. Stafford

Hehe, I remember telling him it didn't look like Naboo... Anyways the map does look good regardless, I'll have to find the time to download the demo.

I agree that it doesn't look much like naboo, but with different textures, and more plants etc it'll look just fine.

On another note, methinks that the big pillar things should have some mid-day shadows stretching across the grass. Might give it a nice atmousphere. Right now it looks much more... blah and bland.

It might not look like the naboo that we have seen in the movies, and please, think about it for a second. we've only seen about... 10% of what naboo looks like. You cannot tell me that there cant be vastly different structures in different areas of a planet, or i will slap you. Take for instance a skyscraper in the US compared to the taj mahal. Different sides of the planet, and totally different designs.

I like it.

:-p I'm no saxman, I'm just saying that if you're going to call it Naboo, give it a little of that Naboo-ish feel that people will associate with it.

It's be nicer if it was actually a circle, and not just a rounded off square.

Very smooth and elegant work. The texturing isn't very cheerful, but it has been applied masterfully.

But what is the purpose of the structure? Is it some kind of an antenna or what?

Lasse, spot on. Also, JM, I'd love to, but I didn't have the time for it. Apart from fiddling with EasyGen and TerraGen, this map was 4 hours work. As for the "this isn't naboo" comments, I see what you mean, but isn't that what artistic freedom is for?

No. You must conform to our standards, or burn in the never-ending flames that is Hell!

This really stuck out to me, too.

GothiX; it's really easy to de-square stuff. Just drag the corner points in towards the middle a little.

If you want the run down on how to make an absolutly perfect circle, talk to rgoer.

When I saw this was for a Total Conversion, I wondered if I had fell asleep during part of AotC because I don't remember seeing anything like that in the movie.

Kind of looks like an artistic sundial. I can see one of those being on Naboo...
