I think everything rocks except the flare on the gold spots. It's just distracting from the quality of the rest of the work.

Nice.

Haha, I have two faded spots right next to eachother on my laptop, from bumping into it. Maybe the size of a pen tip or so. Anyway, these faded spots showed up when I scrolled down to your picture. It looked as if you painted nipples onto your picture haha.

Ooo! Neat. Didn't see this thread until after I'd posted mine.

Your result looks very clean and I like how sharp you kept it. How you made his arms and torso cast a shadow on his cape is neat too.

Personally, I would have (and did) go for more contrast in the complete composition. I find that he blends into the background too easily. The Highlight on his left shoulder and left knee are also a bit strange as you removed the outer contour line there. That's just nitpickery and personal preference, otherwise I'd say you did a fine job!
