A castle I am making for PseudoDonn7's webcomic. I'm not quite sure what I'm at liberty to say, but I needed to show some work. This is the Great Hall/Dining Hall thing...Is it too dark to be realistic? I am going to have to change the sky, unless Takimoto gives me permission to use his sky...

Looks more like a work in progress to me.

Things I've stated to spiwaterwing

1. Less tables.....

2. No central table

3. Different textures (the brick walls)

4. Possible Arched entrance.

Beyond that I think everything else is in order. Except it's gonna need little things to put in ....like drinks or plates and such. But that may possibly be left up to me and my use of pasting jpg objects on top of one another. Heh. ^_^

I did some of the things Pseudodonn7 said...Plates, etc. will probably not happen. Retexturing may happen. More areas soon! Well, soon is relative...
The arched entrance will be done as soon as I get the next area done-no sense in spicing up the entrance if there is nothing to connect to. Also, there will be a wooden door in the doorway...Again, texturing is a bit uncertain as of now.

Trust me, this is completely my own work. I had no real reference material or anything; I didn't even know of any other castle/cathedral/etc. maps except for Bast Castle, which doesn't count.

Fit the window texture with the surface inspector. The skybox looks very strange with all those spots around it

I switched the glass texture to common/glass (from common/glass_reflective) and it looks better.

Well, considering you didn't ask before you decided to extract it from my *.pk3, I'll have to say no.

I'm not trying to be a jerk, but it bothers me when people just decide to lift your work, even when it's already addressed in the ReadMe file that comes with the level.

Heck, I've even made skyboxes for people in the past, because they've gone about it the right way and just asked me. Example: Det's KaminoX level...

Been away awhile. I don't see any updates so I guess I haven't missed much.

Takimoto, it's a wonderful skybox and I loved it. It was entirely my fault that it was put in and not Spi's... I requested it and I thought we discussed not using it before you told us not to. Simply because of the warning at the bottom. It should have been removed, and I thought it was. However, there might have been some miscomunication. Again, I apologize for lifting it.

I meant no offense if anything a compliment on such beautiful work.

Spi, sorry for leaving you hanging these past few days, been working on Finals and stuff. ---And vacation is to follow shortly, (And then job-hunting) so I'm gonna not be easily contacted. I'll always have a computer now and then to check up on progress on this board so keep me posted.

As for the Webcomic....everyone, it's coming along slowly. I need a job in order to get the money to buy the program and then I'll be able to shoot something out. Till then the site will appear dead.
