I like it all except for the texture on the ceiling in the second shot. make it all go one way, instead of turning, because the diamond pattern on that kinda metal in real life doesnt turn, and it would just look better.

good job.

/me pats a_person on the back. It's coming together nicely, just be careful with those pipes going around that turn. I am guessing the pipes are 3do architecture, and know what I do about making turns like that one, there are alot of different sectors there for that turn.. and 1 3do in multiple sectors is bad, cause it makes the 3do disappear when you look at it from certain angles. Other than that, superb.. I am really looking forward to more shots and developments.

Its ok I used that cog to stop 3do flicker and it all works fine you cant evan tell the pipes in different sectors.

You mean like stitching? I'll assume that's what you want.
You can use the <;> to mark the surface to start the stitch from. Select another surface, press <'>, and that surface will become aligned with the surface you started the stitch from. Also, the newly stitched surface then becomes the surface that started the stitch (sorta -- the next surface will be aligned with this one, not the first). Almost like hitting <;> on that surface after <'>.
It's a little hard to explain, but just remember <;> sets a surface that the surface stitched via <'> will align to.
Hope that helps [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

And the level looks pretty good -- I like the dynamic lighting and that pipe really is a nice touch. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/smile.gif]

My question is, why would there be grippy metal on the ceiling at all? It's made for floors, so that people don't fall. Maybe it's for the aliens.

I like the smooth lighting on the pipe. JK always seems to get jaggy with small polygons.

In the fourth shot, I think you should scale that floor texture down a bit. Right now, to me, it makes that room look WAY to small.

you need to learn the concept of cleaving surfaces to control the lighting. you have some fantastic archi in some parts, but the jagged lighting detracts from it quite a bit.

Looks fantastic. I really like the outside-in view.

I'm still working on lighting myself -- not easy (yet).
